Recenze katalogu monografické výstavy krajináře Wilhelma Riedela, který díky svému původu byl doposud opomíjenou postavou české i německé historie umění. Katalog detailně sleduje proměny Riedelovy tvorby a nastoluje i obecné otázky týkající se charakteru jeho díla a role, jakou sehrálo ve vývoji krajinářského realismu 19. století.
Review of an exhibition catalogue of the landscape painter Wilhelm Riedel who was a neglected figure of both Czech and German art history. The catalogue treats in detail the shifts in Riedel´s work and also touches on general questions regarding the position of his work in the development of 19th century landscape painting.
