Cancer cells can strongly influence their microenvironment, increasing the chance to survive or form metastasis. The aim of the study is to describe the effects of three members of the TGFbeta protein family (TGF-beta, BMP-7 and GDF-15) on osteoclast differentiation of murine macrophage cell line RAW264.7, as these cytokines participate in the bone remodeling process and in the control of bone microenvironment.
Nádorové buňky významně ovlivňují své mikroprostředí, čímž zvyšují pravděpodobnost svého přežití a tvorby metastáz. Účelem studie je popsat účinky tří členů rodiny proteinů TGF-beta (TGF-beta, BMP-7 a GDF-15) na diferenciaci osteoklastů z myší buněčné linie RAW264.7, neboť tyto cytokiny se účastní procesu remodelace kostí a kontroly kostního mikroprostředí.
