    The effect of uric acid on homocysteine-induced endothelial dysfunction was tested. It was found, that uric acid restores nitric oxide production, but decreases nitric oxide bioavailability.

    Byl testován vliv kyseliny močové na endoteliální dysfunkci indukovanou homocysteinem. Bylo zjištěno, že kyselina močová obnovuje produkci oxidu dusnatého, ale snižuje jeho bioavailabilitu.
