    MAP2c is predominantly distributed in differentiated neurons, but is also widely expressed in presumptive neural stem cells of glial progenitor cells of the SZV and in interfascicular glia, These findings have impications in developmental neurobiology and stem cell research.

    MAP2c se dominantně nachází v diferenciovaných neuronech, ale je i široce exprimován v neuronálních kmenových buňkách a v interfascikulárních gliích. Tyto poznatky se mohou uplatnit ve vývojové neurobiologii a při studiu kmenových buněk.
