    Metabolites of PCBs were determined in vitro in plant tissue cultures of tobacco and black nightshade. Screening of 21 plant species naturally colonizing PCB dumpsite showed that PCBs are metabolized by plants in vivo, too, to the hydroxy- and methoxy-metabolites.

    Metabolity PCB byly stanoveny in vitro v tkáňových kulturách tabáku a lilku černého. Screening 21 rostlinných druhů přirozeně kolonizujících skládku zeminy zamořené PCB ukázal, že PCB jsou také metabolizovány rostlinami in vivo na hydroxy- a methoxy-metabolity.
