The effect of aldose reductase inhibition by new inhibitor JMC-2004 was tested on bovine aortic endothelial cells. It was found that aldose reductase inhibition abolishes hyperglycemia-induced endothelial dysfunction.

Na endoteliálních buňkách byl testován vliv inhibice aldosa reduktázy na endoteliální dysfunkci indukovanou vysokými hladinami glukózy. Bylo zjištěno, že inhibice aldosa reduktázy inhibitorem JMC-2004 ruší endoteliální dysfunkci vyvolanou hyperglykémií.
