We describe the expression and distribution patterns of nestin in rat normal and regenerating skeletal muscles after heterochronous isotransplantation. Our results show that nestin represents an ideal marker for skeletal muscle regeneration, as its expression reflects processes of development, revascularization and reinnervation of new myofibres
Studie probádala,že nestin je přechodně exprimován ve vyvíjejících se svalových prekurzorech,7 až 16 dní po trasplantaci svalu,21 až 27 dní po transplantaci
