The variation of the magnetic properties within the homogeneity range was studied on single crystals of U2Co17-xSix (x = 1-3.4). The strongly modified magnetic anisotropy of, as compared to isostructural with the non-magnetic Lu, point to a magnetic state of U up to x = 3.0. Spin reorientation was observed in compounds with x less than or equal to 3.

Změny magnetických vlastností monokrystalů U2Co17-xSix byly studovány v celém rozsahu existence homogenity (x = 1-3.4). Magnetická anizotropie U2Co17-xSix, která je silně modifikovaná ve srovnání s izostrukturním Lu2Co17-xSix, ukazuje na magnetický stav uranu pro x až do x = 3. Pro tyto substituce je rovněž pozorována spinová reorientace.
