The aims of this project was to find out the differences among biofilm colonization of particular kinds and types of catheters and to reach the decrease in biofilm production by the affection of culture conditions (surface and medium) in vitro. The CIEF of the microbes can help with making the diagnosis of urinary tract infections faster and more accurate, its advantage is easy quantification of the number of microbes in the sample.
Cílem projektu bylo nalézt rozdíly v biofilmové kolonizaci různých druhů a typů katetru a snížit produkci patogenů volbou vhodných vnitřních podmínek. CIEF mikroorganizmů může urychlit a zpřesnit diagnósu urinárních infekcí, výhodou je možnost kvantifikace mikrobů ve vzorku.
