Large fortified hillfort Vladař has been studied intensively by way of environmental archaeology over last several years. In the ongoing discussion about function of such places e.g. as political and/or religious center, early towns, market places, etc., archaeobotanical research is getting more and more important. Especially the question of consumer and producer site is gaining relevance to appreciate the relationship between so callen Central sites and other settlement.

Rozsáhlé opevněné výšinné sídliště na Vladaři bylo během uplynulých let podrobeno intenzívnímu environmentálně-archeologickému výzkumu. Přednáška byla příspěvkem do stále živé diskuse o roli takových míst jako např. politických, nebo/a náboženských center, raných měst, tržišť, atp. Archeobotanika může k těmto otázkám nabídnout relevantní modely díky možnostem stanovit výrobní a konzumní areály v rámci sítě pravěkých sídlišť.
