The paper evaluates some findings and conclusions from the International workshop on air pollution and human reproduction (Munich, May 2007). The objectives of this workshop were to discuss and evaluate the current evidence concerning the possible effects of air pollutants on human reproduction, to identify the strenghts and weakness of published epidemiologic studies and to suggest future directions for research in this field.

Článek podrobně rozebírá některé výsledky a závěry z mezinárodního workshopu o vlivu znečištění ovzduší na reprodukci člověka (Mnichov, květen 2007). Cílem tohoto workshopu byla diskuse a hodnocení současných výsledků výzkumu možných účinků znečištění ovzduší na lidskou reprodukci, ukázat silné i slabé stránky publikovaných epidemiologických studií a naznačit další zaměření výzkumu v tomto oboru.
