Třídenní mezinárodní konference uspořádaná v rámci meziakademické spolupráce, organizátorem byl Slovanský ústav za účasti Ústavu slavistiky RAN v Moskvě a Slovanské knihovny při Národní knihovně ČR. Příspěvky mapovaly přínos ruské meziválečné emigrace českým humanitním vědám (lingvistika, právní věda historie ad.), literatuře a výtvarnému umění v tehdejším Československu. Konference byla spojena s výstavou Paradoxy 20. století: Nikolaj Jefremovič Andrejev (1908-1982).

A three-day international conference held within the framework of inter-academic co-operation; it was organised by the Institute of Slavonic Studies of the Acad. Sci. of the Czech Rep. under the participation of the Institute of Slavonic Studies (Institut Slavyanovedeniya) of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow and the Slavonic Library affiliated with the National Library of the Czech Rep. in Prague. The contributions mapped the input of Russian interwar emigration into the Czech humanities (linguistics, jurisprudence, history, and others), literature, and fine arts in the then Czechoslovakia. The conference was combined with the exhibition called "Paradoxes of 20th Century: Nikolay Yefremovich Andreyev (1908-1982)".
