Oscillations of plasma jet generated by hybrid water-argon stabilized plasma torch were studied for two frequencies of current ripple using linear array of high frequency photodiodes. Statistical analysis of the records of photodiodes signals was performed and mean amplitudes and phase velocities of oscillations in various spectral windows for several arc currents were evaluated. The total mean amplitudes of oscillations were substantially higher for low frequency modulation of arc current. The phase velocity of oscilations with the frequency of current ripple depends strongly on position with respect to the anode attachment.
