Analysis of climatology and long-term changes of winds and derived planetary wave activity in comparison with stratospheric variability represented by ozone laminae. Prevailing winds in the mesopause region change their trends around 1990 from negative to slightly positive. There are some similarities in behaviour of ozone laminae and mesopause region winds.

Analýza klimatologie a dlouhodobých změn větrů a odvozené aktivity planetárních vln ve srovnání s variabilitou stratosféry representovanou ozonovými laminami. Převládající vítr v oblasti menopauzy mění svůj trend okolo r. 1990 ze záporného na mírně kladný. Existují jisté podobnosti v chování ozonových lamin a větru v oblasti menopauzy.
