    Cyclic plastic response of the Eurofer reduced activation ferritic-martensitic steel was studied. The study was focused on: i) internal structure of fatigued specimens quantitatively investigated by TEM, ii) surface relief observations with focus on crack nucleation sites and kinetics of cracks growth. The life prediction law based on the short crack growth kinetics is presented.

    Byla studována cyklická plastická odezva oceli Eurofer. Studium bylo zaměřeno na: i) kvantitativní popis vnitřní struktury pomocí TEM, ii) pozorování povrchu se zaměřením na nukleaci a růst únavových trhlin. Zákon pro predikci životnosti založený na kinetice růstu krátkých trhlin je uveden.
