    A significant effect of ZrO2 and TiO2 supports on the hydrodesulfurization-activity ranking of V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, W, Re, Os, Ir and Pt sulfides studied was ascertained.
