Článek se zaměřuje na diferenciaci vkusu v české společnosti. Srovnává rozdíly způsobené horizontálními (např. gender) a vertikálními (např. sociální postavení) charakteristikami. Na datech z ISSP 2007 ukazuje, že pro vyšší vrstvy jsou některé aktivity typické, a to bez rozdílu mezi muži a ženami (návštěva muzea, poslech klasické hudby atp.). U činností oblíbených u nižších vrstev lze mužský a ženský svět od sebe odlišit (chození do hospod oproti sledování telenovel).

The paper focuses on the differentiation of taste in the Czech population. It compares differences caused by horizontal (e.g. gender) and vertical (e.g. social status) characteristics. The analysis based on ISSP2007 data shows that there are some activities typical for higher strata with no differences between male and female (visiting museum, listening classical music). On the contrary, activities popular between lower strata could be divided into man’s and woman’s world (going to the pub against watching telenovelas).
