Cílem této monografie bylo shrnout zásadní informace o problematice vibrací v geotechnice. Aby představená informace byla úplnější, jsou uvedeny možnosti použití geofyzikálních metod v geotechnice. Seizmické metody se mohou promítat do všech etap geotechnického průzkumu, tj. před zahájením výstavby, v průběhu realizace stavby a také po jejím ukončení.Příklady byly vybrány tak, aby ukázaly na velkou šíři celé problematiky.

Aim of this monograph was to concentrate basic information about using of vibrations in geotechnics. Examples of geophysical methods using in geotechnical engineering enable more detailed evaluation of these methods. Seismic methods are possible to use in all parts of geotechnical survey, i.e. starting of construction, during realization of structures and also after finishing. Examples were selected to obtain information about wide using of topic under discussion.
