Currently used names of the fauna-bearing localities of the limnic Permo-Carboniferous basins of the Czech Republic are listed with correct stratigraphic range. The present taxonomical concept is applied to both the older material, and the still unpublished findings. The original type material was, furthermore, traced in different collections. The list of localities contains 205 occurrences (outcrops, mines, and mining dumps) and 104 boreholes. The list of fauna encompasses 400 species (1 coelenterate, 4 annelids, 10 bivalves, 2 gastropods, 2 tentaculoids, 3 merostomates, 40 arachnids, 6 branchiopods, 2 ostracods, 3 malacostracans, 35 myriapods, 180 insects, 17 chondrichthyans, 5 acanthodians, 27 actinopterygians, 2 dipnoans, 1 crossopterygian, 47 amphibians, and 13 reptils) and enumerates groups of specimens that have not yet been precisely classified.

Je podán soupis v současné době používaných názvů fosiliferních lokalit s faunou z limnických pánví České republiky včetně správného stratigrafického zařazení. Moderní taxonomický koncept je aplikován jak na starší materiál, tak na prozatím nepublikované nálezy. Kromě toho byl v různých sbírkách dohledán originální typový materiál. Seznam lokalit zahrnuje 205 výskytů (výchozy, doly, haldy) a 104 vrtů. Seznam fauny sestává ze 400 druhů (1 láčkovec, 4 kroužkovci, 10 mlžů, 2 plži, 2 tentakuloidi, 3 hrotnatci, 40 pavoukovců, 6 lupenonožců, 2 skořepatci, 3 rakovci, 35 stonožkovců, 180 druhů hmyzu, 17 paryb, 5 akantodů, 27 paprskoploutvých ryb, 2 dvojdyšné ryby, 1 lalokoploutvá ryba, 47 obojživelníků a 13 plazů) a zahrnuje i dosud přesněji neurčené nálezy.
