    Laserové svařování je jednou z nejvhodnějších metod spojování tenkých kovových plechů. Díky rychlému dodání vysoce koncentrované energie se dosahuje malé tepelně ovlivněné oblasti a celkově vysoké kvality svarů.

    Laser welding seems to be one of the most appropriate thin sheets joining method. Highly focused energy is delivered to the joint and conducted away very fast and only a very narrow heat affected zone can be achieved. Alumina is a material with specific qualities causing serious problems during its welding. Extra precautions must be kept to obtain high quality joint. The quality of welded joints depends on processing parameters of laser system as well as on welding conditions and is also highly dependent on basic material characteristics. Various mechanical tests can be carried out to verify properties and suitability of produced welds.
