The response of cells to ionizing radiation depends not only on the radiation quality, i.e. physical parameters, but also on biological characteristics of the cells. In particular, the repair capacities play an important role.

Odpověď buněk na ionizující ozáření nezáleží pouze na radiační kvalitě, tj. fyzikálních parametrech, ale také na biologických charakteristikách buněk. Reparační schopnosti hrají zvláště důležitou roli.
