Recently WA97 has presented a study of Ξ and Ω produced in Pb-Pb and in p-Pb collision at 160 A GeV/c. The first results suggest a significant enhancement of Ω over Ξ production when gong from p-Pb to Pb-Pb.

Kolaborace WA97 prezentuje současné studium produkce spekter hyperonů Ξ a Ω při srážkách Pb-Pb a p-Pb při 160 A GeV/c. První výsledky naznačují výrazné zvýšení produkce Ω nad Ξ při přechodu z typu srážek p-Pb na Pb-Pb.
