This study is a part of research restoration activities in Kiskunság National Park in Hungary, focussed on promotion of the semi-natural vegetation on abandoned fields by manipulating soil nitrogen cycle in the early stage of secondary succession. There was investigated the effect of combined carbon source (sucrose + sawdust) application on acceleration microbial N immobilization and on decrease plant available N and on the response of the soil microbial community in the field.
