Ve zprávě jsou prezentovány poznatky o výskytu půdních roztočů na Valašsku (Morava, Česká republika). K nejhojnějším druhům v oblasti patří pancířníci Tectocepheus velatus, Oppiella nova, Scheloribates laevigatus.
Description of soil mites is given and present knowledge on the distribution of these soil animals on the territory of Wallachia (Moravia, Czech Republic) is reviewed. Tectocepheus velatus, Oppiella nova and Scheloribates laevigatus belong to the most common species in the region.
