The paper describes the graphical method based on XYt graphs and compares it with standard methods. This method together with others is used for assessment of baroreflex feedback system (BFS) properties. The aim is to obtain a better insight into the quality of the autonomic nervous system (ANS] regulation. The coherency between blood pressure (BP) and heart heat (HB) short time (0.1Hz) oscillations and its time behaviour assessed by XYt graphs provide valuable information about BFS time stability.
