The water issue is set to become one of the major questions of the 21st century. The world's water problems arise not so much from a shortage of freshwater as from its uneven distribution, from ever-increasing demand and from practices detrimental to water quality. The aim of this contribution is to present the measuring techniques and equipments which can serve to measure the quantities connected with a contaminant transport in water.
