(20S)-2ŕ,3ŕ-Dihydroxy-6-oxo-7-oxahomo-5ŕ-pregnane-20-carboxylic acid (12) as a brassinosteroid ligand for affinity chromatography carriers was synthesized from bisnorcholenic acid. The brassinolide activity in the bean second internode bioassay of the synthesized (20S)-5ŕ-pregnane-20-carboxylic acid derivatives is also described.
