For angiotensin IV (Ang IV), angiotensin II 3-8 fragment, its specific receptor was described in brain and kidney). In brain, Ang IV is scarce, LVV-hemorfin-7, an opioid decapeptide of hemoglobin, was found there as the AT4 receptor was identified as insulin regulated amino poptidase and Ang IV and LVV-hemorfin-7 as IRAP inhibitors. We propose that numerous And IV binding sites and high IRAP expression on HT 115 colorectal carcinoma line and their decrease ofter butyrate differentiation point to AT4/IRAP as a potential cencer marker.
