Článek pojednává mechanismy transplantační imunity a tolerance. V úvodu je diskutováno rozpoznávání histokompatibilitních antigenů T lymfocyty a role antigen-presentujících buněk v tomto procesu. Další kapitoly se zabývají regulační rolí subpopulací T buněk a cytokinů a efektorovými mechanismy rejekce transplantátů.
The article deals with the mechanisms of transplantation immunity and tolerance. The introduction discusses recognition of the histocompatibility antigens by T lymphocytes and the role of antigen-presenting cells in this process. The other chapters are devoted to the regulation role of T cell subpopulations and cytokines and to the effector mechanisms of transplant rejection.
