Z analýzy experimentálních, případně počítačově simulovaných strukturních dat lze usuzovat nejen na 3D strukturu molekul, ale i jejich vlastnosti a změny v průběhu chemických reakcí.

Experimental and/or computer simulated structural data are a proper source for 3D structure reconstruction of the molecules, their properties, and their changes during chemical reactions.
