Water soluble compounds, including low-molecular-weight peptides and a high-molecular-weight polymer, fluorescence labeled poly[N(2-hydroxyethyl)-D,L-aspartamide], were incorporated into lecithin inverse microemulsions. Physico-chemical properties of microemulsions and the feasibility of using them for preparing pharmaceutical aerosols were examined.
