Model calculations and corresponding experiments (time-resolved light scattering, diffuse reflectance measurements and image analysis) have been conducted to investigate the morphology and supermolecular structure of two polymer systems (i) polymer composites with dispersed particles in polymer matrix (polypropylene matrix-EPDM particles, polycarbonate-poly(methyl methacrylate) blends) and (ii) co-continuous structures of polymer blends polystyrene-poly(methylmethacrylate) and their change during phase separation and phase dissolution processes. The role of block-copolymers in kinetics of phase dissolution is discussed.
