    Nonvolatile antioxidants and photostabilizers provide long-term protection of polymers used under physically demanding conditions. Functionalization of conventional polymers by grafting with monomers bearing stabilizing moieties during reactive processing or phototriggered grafting are promising methods for synthesis of polymer-bound stabilizers.
