    The excitation energies and on-chain electrostatic potentials of oligo[methyl(phenyl)silane] substituted with a polar substituent and of oligo[methyl(phenyl)silane] in the vicinity of dinitrobenzene molecule (polar additive) were studied by means of quantum chemical methods.
