The paper presents an improved version of model Radack, a stochastic simulation procedure of radiolytic attack to DNA that takes into account the reactivity of each amino acid of a specifically bound protein with hydroxyl radicals. The model is applied to the natural lactose operator-repressor complex taking advantage of crystallography- and NMR-based structures recently reported in the PDB databank. The putative modeled structures of a natural lactose operator - repressor complex are discussed.
