    We present an octagonal lattice Boltzmann model of dissipative MHD which uses two distribution functions and one lattice vector.Simulations are performed using the Orszag-Tang vortex which show the formulation of current sheets through a process of magnetic re-connection.The model possesses good numerical stability while retaining all of the paralellizability features present in most.
