Measurements onboard three Intercosmos satellites (IK 19, IK 24, IK 25) yielded a data base of Te from periods of high solar activity. This data base has been used to construct global empirical model of Te in the region of 500 to 3000 km altitude and +-90- invariant latitude. Differences between our global model and IRI are analyzed.
