We measured (stem)woody-tissue CO2 efflux of eight Norway spruce tree located at the Experimental Ecological Study site of Bily Kriz in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mts. using SAMTOC system operating as a close system. On base of the continuous measurement the daily dynamic and heterogeneity of woody-tissue CO2 efflux was determined during two weeks in August 2002. Precipitation is a factor influencing CO2 efflux measurements.
