We assessed the development of a territory whose hundreds-years established harmony between socio-economic, cultural, and natural attributes of the landscape has been disturbed by external political decisions in this century. The trajectories of these parameters reveal that the socio-economic and cultural subsystems of the landscape can remain blocked for a long time, while the natural landscape component (land cover) continues in a spontaneous development along the different successional stages.
