Článek analyzuje práce, které v souvislosti s výstavou francouzského sochaře Augusta Rodina v Praze roku 1902 vytvořil Max Švabinský, a sleduje původ a význam jejich jednotlivých motivů, zejména ruky, která se probírá plnovousem.

The article analyzes a group of works created by Max Švabinský on the occasion of the visit of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin in Prague in 1902. It interprets origins and meaning of their individual motives, in particular of the hand combing the beard.
