Tato v pořadí již čtvrtá konference byla v převážné míře věnována problematice biodiverzity ryb. Vedle příspěvků obsahujících poznatky o biodiverzitě konkrétních subjektů na konkrétních lokalitách a biotopech, a to na úrovni společenstva, druhu, ale i vnitrodruhové, byly předneseny i příspěvky, ve kterých je položen důraz na ochranu biodiverzity.

This conference, fourth in a row, was largely devoted to problems of biodiversity of fishes. Besides contributions which present data on the biodiversity of concrete subjects in concrete localities and habitats on community, species and intraspecific levels, there were also contributions that emphasise biodiversity protection and conservation.
