The investigation of bubble array distribution in the 2D melting space has shown bubbles as a potential powerful mixing tool. As both bubble size and concentrations corresponded to the values found by the mathematical modelling of a real glass melting space, a significant effect of bubbles on glass flow can be expected in glass melting furnaces.
