Das Kapitel - eine Länderstudie - untersucht den Beitrag des Tschechischen Parlaments zur Systemtransformation im ersten postsozialistischen Jahrzent in der Tschechischen Republik. Im Mittelpunkt steht sowohl die institutionelle Konsolidierung des Parlaments als auch seine Rolle in dem neuen politischen System.

The chapter analyses the contribution of the Czech Parliament to the transformation of the political system in the Czech Republic during the first decade of democratic development. The attention is paid both to the institutionele consolidation of parliament and to ist role within the new political system.
