Jednotící linií sborníku je analýza klasických a soudobých postupů islámských právních autorit (ulamá) při řešení vybraných problémů každodenního života. Autoři zvolili problematiku postavení ženy, plánování rodiny, alkoholu (zejm. vína) a islámskou interpretaci snů.

The unifying motif of the collection of articles is based on analysis of both the classical and contemporary attitudes of Islamic scholars (Ulama) in their solution of chosen topics of everyday life. The authors focused on the Woman issue within the context of Islam, the family-planning, juridical interpretation of alcohol (with the special respect to the wine) and Islamic interpretation of dreams.
