    Biogeochemistry of the anthropogenic contaminants As, Be, Cd, Cu and Pb was studied in the experimental Lesní potok catchment in central the Czech Republic. The completely forested landscape is underlined by syenogranite and monzogranite. Bedrock, as well as the soil cover, are enrichted by As, Be and Pb. The enrichment of Cu and Pb in topmost layers of the soil profile are due to low mobility of elements, metabolic cycling by vegetation (Cu), and anthropogenic emission (Pb). Bulk fluxes of all the studied contaminants in precipitation decreased in period 1994-1999 by approximately 80
