The amounts of weathering products dispersed in pure limestones were documented using the combined methods of gamma-ray logging, gamma-ray spectrometry and magnetic susceptibility measuring (K,Th,U vs. Fe). Six third-order Frasnian eustatic cycles have been inferred from the data, with an estimated period of 1 Ma. The Late Frasnian brought a strong overlay on this hypothetical background setting by rapid sea-level fluctuation (with major glacioeustatic influences). Basically, the humid climates became to prevail on carbonate platforms but sealevel was falling down, both seen in long-term averages.
