V článku jsou popsány hlavní fáze zvětrávání středočeské oblasti a jejich vztah k silifikaci a feritizaci.

The Mesozoic-Paleogene weathering phase is represented by rare silicified woods, fragments of ferricretes with anatase cements and silcretes of the Labe type. The parallel occurrences of silcretes and ferricretes indicate the result of the uniform phase of weathering.
