SUDETES 2003 is the latest of a series of large 3-D refraction seismic experiments in Central Europe. It fills the gap between the regions covered by the previous experiments, POLONAISE'97, CELEBRATION 2000 and ALP 2002. SUDETES 2003 covered mainly the northern part of the Bohemian Massif and some of the neighbouring Polish basin and the West Carpathians.

SUDETES 2003 je poslední z řady rozsáhlých experimentů 3-D seismické refrakce ve střední Evropě. Vyplňuje mezeru mezi oblastmi pokrytými v předešlých experimentech, POLONAISE’97, CELEBRATION 2000 a ALP 2002. SUDETES 2003 převážně pokrývá severní část Českého masivu a některé částí Polské pánve a Západní Karpaty.
