Short-time dynamic displacement of a rock massif or its part due to mining or excavation processes is understood here as one type of manifestation of the Earth's dynamics. While earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and landslides are in most cases of natural origin, the rockbursts belong among the induced seismic phenomena.
