Electroencephalographic a behavioral effects as well as electrophysiologic and morphologic consequences of subconvulsive dose of pilocarpine in lithium chloride-pretreated rats were studied. Pilocarpine induces nonconvulsive status epilepticus in rats strongly resembles a short-term human complex SE.
